Power - over, under and with

Right outside my office window is a bird feeder. I enjoy watching the little sparrows and finches come and peck away at the seeds. Several times lately though I have watched larger birds come and bossily push the little birds out of the way.
This has made me reflect on the 'power' issue of people. How the Dictator/Authoritative (Carpman Triangle) will work to go 'power over', while the Victim will go 'power under'. I work to maintain 'power with' and teach this to students and then to clients when the issue comes up.
One of the reasons I was attracted to the Yuen Method over a year ago and have studied and used it since is because of how Dr. Yuen explains about moving things to 'neutral' which to me works in the same concept of my 'power with'.
If we are needing superiority we need to have someone in inferiority. The see-saw of power is either up or down. When we have power with, we have an ease and the see-saw is just equal. Remember getting on a see-saw when we were young. One person gets on and holds the see-saw in neutral position until the other person gets on then one pushes up and one pushes down. You work with cooperation so you get the wonder and fun of going up and down, you are working together, you have 'power with' you have 'neutral' because if someone dominates the game doesn't work. If someone does not want to push up to send the other person down the see saw does not work.
In the see-saw if one person walks away, without helping the other person get off by holding the see saw in neutral again the person drops to the ground with a bang. Here the position would be the dictator of letting go, so the other person crashes into the ground (this results in a jarring - I know its happened to me) and its not fun or nice. It is a game of cooperation.
Today I do not think they have see-saws in play grounds, so children do not get the opportunity to learn the power of 'power with'.  Too bad, as it is those lessons which go with us and give us thought years later when dealing with people.
Perhaps you can consider your life and look to see who or what has 'power over' you and where you give your power up so you are 'power under' and mostly, where do you exhibit 'power with.' To do this you will need to let go of your need to protect, be on top, and most of all to be vunerable.
Lately in my 'clearing' sessions I have been dealing with people who have been afraid of being 'vunerable'. To me your ego is your defensive mechanism and defends those aspects of ourselves who do not want to be 'wrong' 'embarrassed' 'judged' and in particular 'vunerable'.  Its interesting when those are cleared and you are strong in your inner core of acceptance of yourself how you can move to power with.
You have a great day
Norma.

We are a battery!

I always find it interesting how ideas and concepts come together. This final awareness of being a 'battery' came through several concepts coming together. Finally, when listening to The Power while driving home from Calgary I put the final thought together.  The steps went like this.
The Yuen Method: In the Yuen Method you are taught about coming to neutral. I loved this concept, because it fitted in with my 'power with' concept. I teach not to be power over (dictator) or power under (victim) but to be power with.
Trish's comment about a negative chakra system, and my guide RaMa saying that the front was the positive and the back the negative, similar to a battery in order to find balance. This fitted in with how I teach about the chakra energy moving through the body connected 360o all around, but utilizing the visualization of front through the body and reconnecting the each chakras source energy at the back.
Then the CD The Power, where she was saying how one needs to move from the 'negative' to the 'positive' and if you are 51% over towards the positive then you were at the 'tipping point' in your life. Oh yes she is talking about 'love' and how you need to come from 'love'. Something once again I agree with, and again something RaMa taught us in one of his classes several years ago and was instrumental in me not drinking any more.
It was contemplating what she was saying, when all the pieces dropped into place. When your are in neutral (Yuen) your 'battery' is totally charged and you are ready to go.
One of the aspects of Yuen which I love is how you do not look at the world as negative or positive (again something I teach) but rather you work to have everything equally strong, so nothing has power over you. You are balanced, you are in your power, you can move forward easily.
I have loved this new awareness of the thought of being a battery. If we move into the 'negative' we are low in power, but also if we are too much on the other tend, we are not in a full power. (Think of someone who is in denial of their 'negative' emotions). The understanding was there for me all the time, but with these three comments coming from three different directions, and with help of clarification from RaMa I once more understand the importance of being in your own power.
I recommend you listen to the CD or read the book just out The Power (the sequel to the Secret). A friend had sent me a copy and I thank her for it.
Blessings to all and may you find your 'neutral' your 'power' and create.
Norma.

Hail from New Zealand

Well I made the 14 hour trip to Auckland, New Zealand without too much trouble. Lots of leg room, thank goodness, so I could stretch my legs rotate my ankles etc. Unfortunately the seat could have been a bit wider for my generous hips, but made it through OK. Managed to have a little bit of a sleep as well. Watched several movies, one being The Hangover, which I did laugh through, but don't understand why it got nominated in several of the award shows. There again watching a movie on an airplane is not the best thing to do. I also put on 2012 and proceeded to sleep through most of it. Same with Wild Things.
I had a great visit with Rob, Melanie, McKayla & Kiera. Bridget had come out and picked me up from the Natural Comfort Centre, where I was privileged to do 11 channeling's of people's guides. That was a fun afternoon as we had some interesting messages, then when Bridget arrived we had a lovely dinner Melanie had prepared. Bridget left and we watched the Olympic updates and then off to bed. In the am, watched Kiera have her last soccer game of the season and then McDonalds for trophies etc. Now watching a group of 5/6 year olds run after a ball has its moments. They are all so cute and you can tell the six year olds from the five year olds, so next year I can see Kiera will be quite good, as she kicks a mean ball already. Unfortunately, McKayla's soccer has finished, so did not get to see her play at all this season.
Back to Rob's to watch the big hockey game. WE WON!!! Then off to the airport with people honking and waving flags. At the airport (I was there quite early expecting a huge crowd). No! It was quite empty in fact, only had to wait for one couple of complete, and I was up at the counter, bags gone, walking through the x-ray etc and down to the gate where I watched TV and read. Saw the beginning of the closing ceremonies before boarding and beginning the long flight. The people sitting next to me were from Calgary and it was their first visit. Coming for a month.
Mal & Jan were there when I walked off the plane with their little granddaughter Isabella. Shes so cute, not quite two, went and picked up my car (which I still have not driven) - tomorrow. Mal drove the car home, I drove with Jan.
Coming here, is like coming home after being away for awhile (which of course it is). Mal & Jan's house is usually where I land and I have spent quite a bit of time here over the years. They had renovated since I was last here, especially the dining area, made it larger and then when the collection of their family, son Calvin with his wife Kelly, children Oliver, Sam and baby Isabella, plus my niece Rin, her boyfriend Mat and his daughter Chedae plus me we had lovely lasagna (three kinds.) Oh yes, I had a short sleep in the afternoon (after all arrive at 6am without too much sleep on the plane) and then by 8.30 last night I was falling asleep. That meant off to bed and awake at 3am, read until it was time to get up at 7am. (I've had another nap this afternoon) hopefully by tomorrow I won't need to do that.
We went off shopping today, new shoes, new purse and some books....
back home, slept, and now up ready for a relaxing evening before back to bed more sleep and one more day here (I actually sat out in the sun for awhile this afternoon) before heading south to my sister on Thursday.
If you have managed to read this far, other impressions, one thing which I always love arriving in NZ is the green. The many different colors of green, plus the foliage, lots of it, and so different from us. Then today, when the sun was out (it was cloudy yesterday) and the sea looked gray. Today, sun out and the sea is accustomed 'green'. Love it. Oh yes, they have a wonderful view of a bay. They are up high, and you have a lovely view out and over houses onto the bay, where when it is 'green' I find very magical.
I have used my magic 'free point energy wand' on several people since arriving. Pain has left, feet, ankles, neck and back, plus my feet today after coming back from shopping - they hurt, so wanded them - no more hurt. PLUS the water tastes great when I wand it.
I also have used some Yuen Method too, but my family is not overly big on processing anything. They are just my family and I love them.
When I go south (driving myself - remember on the different side of the road) I won't have as easy access to a computer. But will endeavor to post tomorrow or in the am before I leave.
In the meantime, ensure you enjoy the day
Love
Norma.

Thoughts of February ending

February is fast coming to an end and it has been a busy month for me. I'm just back from taking The Yuen Method Level One course. I was thinking on the way home, it is often said you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well I believe you can! Its called practice!
After taking the Introduction four hour workshop of the Yuen Method on New Years Day I recognized that it was similar to my Soul/Source Connection work and had some quicker methods and decided I wanted to know/learn more. Now with Level One under my belt, wherein I learned a great deal more of how I can utilize this technique I will be working to assimilate what I learned. After all I'm committed to aiding/helping people achieve what they want easily.
The second exciting thing which occurred was my 'Free Point Energy Wand' arrived, just before leaving for Calgary. Now again New Years played a part in this. A good friend happened to be in Vancouver and was introduced to the Amega Wand.....she brought it back with her to Penticton and demonstrated how it worked. For me I loved the way it made vegetables taste (not my favorite) but the taste of them, even lettuce, made me want one, after all one needs their veges. Anyway, while in Calgary I used it several times on people who had pain or discomfort and they all felt a difference - one person was able to raise his arm where he hadn't before. Several had pains from their shoulders, knees and feet removed. yeah! My friend Cecelia who I was staying with had developed a cough, and when 'wanding' her chest, she stopped coughing and better yet slept well through the night. This happened two nights in a row. I have found it is great to have as not everyone wants to be 'processed' with their pain, but are willing to have some relief now. In otherwords the 'wand' is acceptable. So I feel I have two ways of relieving pain.
Third thing is my six month Plug Into Your Personal, Psychic & Spiritual Power Intensive ended, which I wrote about earlier, but it sure always leaves a 'hole' in my life. What happens while participants are going through the program, I 'hold' them in light to travel their journey. Then when it is over I let them go, and for me its sad for a wee while. I spoke to Olivia who now lives in France yesterday morning, and that was great as she is doing well.
Now as I'm tidying up my house, seeing a last few clients I'm beginning to get ready for going to New Zealand where I will visit my family, friends and hopefully enjoy the sun, after all we have snow here this am. I'm sure everything which needs to get done will get done, but its always a bit hectic before you leave for a three week trip. I will be blogging how the trip goes when I can get to a computer.
As February comes to a close, I look back and think, wow its gone....come on March.

New learning, new ideas, new products

What a New Year....here it is only the 20th and I cannot believe what seems to be happening. On New Years Day I went to a four hour introductory workshop of the Yuen Method. Since then I have been working with it. It goes so well with my soul/source work. It has shortened the time I spend, plus I believe takes me into aspects which I was not 'hitting' before. So I've been working with friends, clients and you name it to check out how it works and if it holds etc. I know I certainly have experienced the benefits for myself.
I know this is a five personal year for me, but already I seem to watch what is going on and I don't get spread out too thin.
I'm off in February to Calgary to take Level one of the Yuen Method to add to my knowledge base.
Then last night I was out to a most delightful Italian Dinner with three friends and one of them had just returned from Vancouver with a new product - a zero point energy wand - so she wanded our food, drink etc. While the other three went on about how wonderful the wine was (the non drinker/driver me did not partake of the wine) but what I noticed was this: first the water was smooth as silk to drink and second the most important of all, my vegetables tasted wonderful and I wanted more. Now that may not mean much to you, but I'm just not a vegetable eater and here I was wanting more. So I'm going to hold an informative evening/afternoon here very soon. Apparently there is a lemon test .... I want to experience that for sure. My friend said when wanded the lemons tasted more like grapefruit. I'm sure you will here more about this product. Oh yes, the company (networking of course) has a rejuvenation cream.....ah all three of us (2 of us 65) thought that was wonderful. I'm really waiting for that product to be available in Canada. Coming soon I hope.
In the meantime, I'm visiting the sunbed three times a week to lay a base for my trip to New Zealand which is getting closer by the week. The sun is quite hot there, so I'm getting myself slightly brown so I don't buirn. Plus I'm using lots of cream on my face, but this zero point energy cream simply has to work on the falling face.
Back to the Yuen method for a moment, as that really has my fancy. I'm presently offering 15 min complimentary sessions (can upgrade to 1/2 hour for $45.00) which means I can transform, release, neutralize, correct (whatever you want to call it) one thing in the 15 minutes or 3 in 30min for you. Let me know if you are interested. Good until Feb 15th. (Then I'm away in Calgary learning more and then NZ for 3 weeks). Next week is filling up with people wanting to see how it works. So far results and comments have been good.
I have made a few sales of my new meditation CD.....so far the feed back has been good. Makes me feel nice to hear that.
Well thats the news, I'm seeing clients, teaching my intensive (the students did great!!! at their psychic practicum reading Tarot Cards, drawing auras, crystal ball, stones and buttons. I'm very proud of them. Plus they are all transforming before my eyes. Plus Wednesday meditation continues (on tonight), Thursday night is now Choir here practising for our Sunday Celebration Service. I find that a lot of fun. This Saturday I do my first of two psychic parties, next Friday I also have a channeling night then the second psychic party on Saturday. Life is good!!!!
Oh yes, this Sunday afternoon six of us (all friends) are traveling north to hear Lee Carroll, who channels Kryon for the afternoon . So life is busy with fun as well as work.
Enjoy your day!
Norma.
